Lake Mead U is a vehicle for teaching Biblical truth and Bible-based principles for the Church at Lake Mead and the broader community. We hope the tracks below will provide practical benefits for you and your family! Lake Mead U classes are offered in the Fall and Spring on Sunday mornings during one of the two services. We offer them on Sundays so that you can still attend a church service and be involved in a mid-week Life Group. If you have any questions please contact our Lake Mead U Coordinator, Tina, at

Knowing what to say is different from knowing how to say it. Almost every Christian has attempted to defend the faith and has seen the conversation go terribly wrong. They had the right thing to say, but they just said it the wrong way.

This class is designed to present you with a handful of tactical approaches that can help you navigate Christian defense arguments. Assuming you already know what to say, you will now have an opportunity to focus on how to say it in a gentle, yet more impactful way.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Describe and identify basic laws of logic
  • Deconstruct common objections in order to find their flaws
  • Employ tactical methods of communicating rational arguments
  • Navigate conversations with gentleness and love

Instructor: Nick Grewe

Dates: Sundays at 11AM, March 20th

Location: Room 229
